Build and extend

Original source is MIT licensed by santismo. Keep dependency, service and capture rights separate.

Repositories

mighty-nam contains the Mac app, firmware experiments, protocols and evidence. mighty-nam-controller contains the static phone page.

Both are public. Neither includes stock firmware, private capture bundles, account tokens or private keys. The public builder includes three MIT-licensed RiffSmith starters. Historical internal schema/storage identifiers remain stable for compatibility.

Mac and phone

Follow DEVELOPMENT.md for the pinned toolchain and build commands. Run Flutter/shared API tests before packaging. The public preview uses ad-hoc signing to avoid publishing a personal signing certificate; it is not notarized.

The phone controller is plain HTML/CSS/JavaScript, served over HTTPS. Run npm test. Independently distributed forks should register their own TONE3000 application and callback destinations.

Firmware

The local browser builder needs no compiler. Its recipe exporter and tests document the distributed code, input/output hashes and licensed starter-bank checks.

The current hybrid patches exact stock bytes locally and inserts original A2 Lite DSP and controller hooks. Use only the documented stock version and the build-specific validation gates. Do not upload the resulting hybrid image or a personal capture bank.

Licenses and service terms

The project MIT license does not cover manufacturer firmware/hardware, TONE3000 catalog content or official brand marks. Keep upstream MIT/MPL and file-level notices. Public releases contain the app, source and local builder with original compiled changes. No combined NUX firmware image or private capture is included; the three public RiffSmith captures retain their creator’s MIT license.

The TONE3000 free integration uses its official picker and bounded lists, with attribution retained. Commercial products need separate terms. Read the distribution notes.
